Cooling and solar are the same project
Air conditioning peaks when the sun does. A site with meaningful cooling load has a naturally high daytime self-consumption ratio, which is exactly what makes a solar investment work. Specifying the two together usually beats specifying them a year apart.
Heat pumps and electrification
Replacing fossil heating with air-to-water heat pumps raises electrical demand and lowers carbon. Where solar and storage are on the same site, more of that new demand is met on site — but the winter heating peak is not a solar peak, so model the two seasons separately.
What we supply
Indoor and outdoor units, controls, refrigerant pipework accessories and commissioning documentation. We hold multi-brand stock so specification follows the application rather than whichever brand happens to be available.
Refrigerants and compliance
Refrigerant handling is regulated and must be carried out by qualified engineers. We supply equipment and documentation; the F-gas work sits with your installer.
